Targeted:

20,000 Yemeni from Youths
between 18 – 30.

Locations:

All Yemeni governorates.

Time Period:

Two years (2013 and 2014).

The Overall Goal:

To promote savings culture among youth and configure their financial identity and eliminate financial literacy.

 

The Primary Objective:

Promoting youth to save and improve their financial culture for facing life and starting up their own enterprises in the future.

The Overall Goal:

To Increase Rural Incomes through Strategic Investment in the Sesame Value Chain.

 

The Primary Objective:

1. Increase farm incomes, production and productivity within the sesame value chain.
2. Improve sesame processing and transformation methods.
3. Improve market linkages, and promote strategic partnerships along the sesame value chain.

The two week training sessions are focused on Social Performance Management and the importance it has in the overall performance of the Microfinance sector development.

The main objective of this visit is to provide the participants with the sufficient information and training skills that will enable them to optimize the Social Performance of their organizations.

– Provide in-kind support for affected projects to bring the beneficiaries back to business.

– Contributing to the recovery of the sector in particular and the economy in general

Targeted:

8,000 beneficiaries.

Locations:

Sana’a, Hadhramout, Lahj and Hodiedah.

Time Period:

Sep 2014 – January 2015.

Scope :

To conduct a research targeting 12,000 people as the overall sample for selecting 8,000 people with the following details:
-4000 working women between age 31–50.
-4000 unemployed youth between age 16–30 (2400 female and 1600 male).

The 8000 people will be trained and qualified in the small and micro enterprises to enable them to make their own business.

The Primary Objective:

1. Enhancing access to non-public school education.
2. Offering vocational training for the youth at the targeted areas.
3. Facilitating training for working mothers.
4. Granting microfinance to targeted groups.
5. Capacity building of VOLIP beneficiaries.
