Yemen Microfinance Network conducted the training program titled “Product Development” for 5 days starting in April 23, 2017. This program was delivered by the experienced trainer Mr. Nabil Al Shahali.
The program aims to enable participants to study and implement plans to develop financial products in MFIs and to obtain the main key concepts and tools for product development. The program had three main aspects:
1- A general introduction to product development in MFIs.
2- Function of product development at the MFI .
3- Stages of product development that includes:
a- Preliminary market study.
b- The first design stage and development plan.
c- The design stage of the product.
d- Pilot Phase.
e- Evaluation stage.
At the conclusion of the program, all participants expressed their appreciation for conducting this session because of its importance in the upcoming activities of MFIs.
