As part of its peer exchange programs for the upcoming period YMN organized a Crisis Management workshop in cooperation with Al-Amal Bank on Monday 19th October 2015.
Representatives of 7 institutions attended the workshop including the Head of SMED Unit at SFD Mr.Osama Al-Shami , GIZ PSD Advisor Mr.Taufik AlDobhani and CARE International Assistant Youth Program Manager Ms.Azzah Al-Khalil.
Al-Amal Microfinance bank shared their experience with the continuing crisis.
Mr. Mohammed Ateyah – Al-Amal Bank Training Manager illustrated the key subjects in crisis management and how the Bank manages operations and services at this difficult time.
During the workshop an open discussion allowed the participants to stress upon the issues currently facing the MFIS and their optimistic vision for the future in case a ceasefire is reached.
YMN will be organizing similar Peer Exchange programs in the upcoming period and will bring in other MFIs to share their experiences creating mutual benefit and enhancing data exchange among members.
