The Union Microfinance Program has been announced as the winner of “Member of the Year Award” by the Yemen Microfinance Network for 2018. In second place came Aden Microfinance Foundation.
The announcement took place as part of the 5th Annual Microfinance Meeting held last May. The Head of SMEs at the Social Fund for Development Mr. Osama Al Shami, the Chairman of the YMN Dr. Hamid Al Amrani and the Managing Director of the Network Ali Abutaleb presented the award to the winner (Union Microfinance).
Earlier, YMN has announced the criteria and conditions for the “Member of the Year Award” during the 5th Annual Microfinance Meeting emphasizing that transparency is being followed when selecting the winner of the award.
