YMN organized a workshop for “Technology and Microfinance”. The workshop, which was attended by a wide range of MFIs, SFD, stakeholders, telecom companies and service providers, discussed the major challenges facing the microfinance sector in Yemen, in addition to technology-related opportunities and solutions that would facilitate the decision-making process and the day-to-day tasks.
As an outcome of the workshop the participants recommended that a working group from the participants to follow-up on the conclusions and further steps to be made following the workshop.
