YMN General Assembly meeting was held on the 25th of May 2016 with the election of a new Board of Directors.
The meeting included 85% of YMN members which representing the majority of the General Assembly. The Deputy Ministry of Ministry of Social Affairs and Labor Mr. Ali Saleh Abdullah attended the meeting and the Head of foundations department at the Ministry Mr.Hameed Maoudha as well as several media correspondents.
The elections of the General Assembly resulted with the new Board of Directors that comprises of : Mr. Hameed Al-Amrani , Chairman , Ms. Bortogala Al-Shatebi Vice Chariman, and Mr.Tawfik Dabwan, Mr.Refat AL-Mamari and Abubakr Al-Sakkaf as Board Members.
Furthermore, the elections also elected the M&E Committee which consist of Ms.Duaa Al-Thawr. Ibtisam Al-Ghazali , Faten Salem.
The meeting also discussed the financial reports of YMN for the previous year and the reports issued by YMN Auditors.
The meeting was concluded by comments from the Deputy Minister of Social Affairs and Labor who praised the transparency and sense of responsibility by the General Assembly of YMN and their commitment to the completion of the elections and the role in improving the work of civil society organizations.
