Proposal Writing

Yemen Microfinance Network (YMN) concluded the 4 days training program in “Proposal Writing” that was organized from the 14th – 17th of November 2016 with support from the Social Fund for Development (SFD).

There were 26 participants from several MFIs from different governorates as well as non-member organizations.

The Proposal writing program was designed to enable the participants to write and plan proposal , needs assessments, methods to evaluate and monitor projects and the ways to apply for support from donor organizations , as well as the budgeting and reporting of the proposals. All of these abilities were presented and delivered by Mr. Ahmed Nooraldeen, who also provided comprehensive materials in project planning and the lifecycle of the project and its sustainability.

At the end of the training program Mr. Ali Abutaleb the MD of YMN requested from all participants in the training to submit their proposal that serves MFI clients whose businesses have damaged and effected by the war and how to revive their businesses.

Each participant was provided by the criteria for submitted the potential clients who will be granted support from the 6000$ that is part of the ROSE Initiative that is being implemented. Finally the participants of the training program were happy to have being part of such an enriching course which provided them with the practical skills as well as the knowledge to write and submit proposals to donor organizations.
